‘Tense and Complicated’ Situation Prevails in Nicaragua After Anti-Government Protests
Following almost a week of often violent protests that left over 20 dead, the government of Daniel Ortega is now trying to negotiate with opposition forces and gave in to some of their demands. But the US is in the background to take advantage of the unrest, says John Kotula of NicaNotes.
